These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of The Closet Website, located at www.thecloset-official.com. These terms and conditions only apply to orders through www.thecloset-official.com (“Online Orders”)
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use The Closet if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Qatar. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
HOW WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER
As soon as we receive your order, we will start preparing the shipment. Once the delivery Company will collect the parcel, you will be able to track your order and you will be reached over the phone/ email for the delivery.
- The Closet will receive and process your order(s) from Saturday to Thursday.
- We don’t ship orders on Fridays and other official holidays.
- Shipping hours and terms during peak season or extraordinary circumstances may change.
- Ramadan shipping timings will be announced separately.
DELIVERY ADDRESS CHANGE
Our Shipping partner for domestic deliveries is Pass.qa. Shipping costs will appear at the checkout.
- Once the order has left our warehouse, the driver will contact you to arrange the delivery.
- Once your order leaves our warehouse we are not able to redirect any shipment, so please make sure that you or someone representing you will be available at the address that you first instructed us to ship to.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
Our shipping partner for International deliveries is DHL. Shipping costs will appear at the checkout.
- Delivery time frames are an approximation depending on a smooth transition of your package through customs. The Closet is not responsible for your country customs procedures or delays.
- International deliveries may be subject to customs duty. All purchases final price will not include import fees or local taxes. Customs duties may vary according to your order and shipping country. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay duty on any order subject to customs clearance.
- In the case that our courier cannot deliver your package to the address you have given us and has to return the package back to The Closet, the customer will be liable for all expenses incurred including but not limited to duties, taxes, and return shipping charges. These expenses will be deducted from any refund.
- Upon receipt of any package, the customer must check that it has not been opened before signing. In the case that the box has been opened or damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the content of the box. Customer should then sign for the package noting any discrepancies and inform us within 24 hours by email at [email protected].
DOMESTIC DELIVERIES (QATAR)
Collect your order at the Boutique
- You can pick up your order at the shop within 2 hours free of shipping costs (flag the option at the checkout). This option is available according to the boutique’s operating hours .
- Home delivery within 24 hours from your order confirmation (this doesn’t apply to weekends, official holidays or extraordinary circumstances).
- Delivery timing and fees during Ramadan, special holidays and exceptional circumstances might be subject to change.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
REFUNDS
Please read our policy before placing an order to understand which items are eligible for return.
- Trunk Show: Refundable within 14 days from the receiving date for store credit (12 months validity)
- Pre-Order: refundable within 14 days from the receiving date.
- Full price items: refundable within 14 days from the receiving date.
- Exceptional Items: are not eligible for return and not eligible for refund.
- Markdown items: refundable within 7 days from the receiving date for store credit (12 months validity)
- Final Sale: are not eligible for return and are not eligible for refund.
- Site credit: items purchased by site credit are not eligible for return/refund.
Items eligible for return and refund must be unused and in their original conditions, packaging, hangers, garments bag, intact tag, unwashed, unaltered.
Please take care while trying your order: any return that does not meet our policy will not be accepted and returned to you at your own expenses.
SIZE EXCHANGE
Unfortunately we don’t offer size/color exchange. If you’re not satisfied with your order, you can return it and place a new order.
RETURNS
Some items aren’t eligible for return, always check notes & item description before you place your order. All accepted returns will be refunded according to the original method of payment within 4 weeks since when the returned item is received at our shop, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- The delivery charge incurred originally (if any) will be deducted from the returned value of the credit note/refund.
- The cost of shipping and any import taxes and duties paid are non-refundable.
- Products must be returned new, unused ad unworn conditions in the original packaging, including boxes, covers, hangers if any, including stickers/labels.
- Jewellery, accessories and underwear cannot be returned for hygienic reasons. Custom products, special orders, couture orders and any customized item cannot be returned.
Kindly note The Closet monitors the number and conditions of the items returned and orders cancelled by customers. Repeated returns or violations of our terms and conditions will be flagged and, at our discretion, lead to the closure of your account or future orders being refused.
In cases where The Closet detects a problem in the order or the refund if we cannot reach the Customer at the phone or e-mail provided, we freeze the execution of the order/refund for 7 business days. The Customer is expected to contact The Closet Qatar regarding the issue within this period. If no reply is received from the Customer within this period, The Closet has the right to cancel the order or freeze the return in order to prevent damage to both parties.
INITIATE AN INTERNATIONAL RETURN
To initiate a return, you should contact us at [email protected] within the timeframe assigned.
If your return inquiry is accepted, we will send via email a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items shipped back to The Closet without pre-approved shipping label will not be accepted and will be shipped back to you at your own expenses. We do not accept returns from countries other than the country to where the order was originally shipped. Once you will receive the return label, you can contact DHL to arrange the return.
Any product returned outside of its deadline for returns will not be accepted and shipped back to you at your own expenses.
INITIATE A DOMESTIC RETURN (QATAR)
If you are in Qatar, you have 2 options to return your online order:
Free drop&return at The Closet boutique (The Pearl, Porto Arabia, Parcel 5, Unit 117, Doha) within 14 days from the date of receipt. To initiate your return you should contact us via email at: [email protected] and you will receive an email confirmation. The Closet will not accept items without the returning label.
Home pick up: contact us via email [email protected] to arrange the return. You will receive all details via email and we will arrange the collection. We will deduct the return fee from your refund/credit.
DEFECTED ITEMS
For defected/damaged item or if you have received a wrong item please contact The Closet customer service team via email at [email protected] within 24 hours from the date of receipt.
The Closet will determine, in its sole judgment and discretion, whether the damage is as a result of normal wear and tear or some other reason.
LATE RETURNS
Any product returned outside of its deadline for returns will not be accepted and shipped back to you at your own expenses.
ORDER MODIFICATION
If your order has left our warehouse, we are unable to modify/cancel your order. This includes cancelling your order, updating an address, updating the size of an item and/or combining any shipments.

We have made every effort possible to ensure the colors of our products are displayed as accurately as possible on our website. If you have any questions about any of your selected item please contact: [email protected] before finalizing your purchase.
ORDER CANCELLATION
If your order has left our warehouse, we are unable to modify/cancel your order. For further details please contact: [email protected].
If your cancellation is accepted we will arrange a refund in the same form your order was paid, minus any shipping charges, bank charges and any other related duty.
Once your order has been shipped, we cannot do any cancellations. Please check our refund policy (section “Refunds” LINK).
TAILORING ALTERATION
The Closet offers free alternation on your online order(s) at the boutique (Doha) within 60 days from the date of receipt. We can schedule an appointment with our Alteration Team at our boutique in Doha, Qatar. ( “The Fitting” – The Pearl, Porto Arabia, Parcel 5, Unit 117, Doha).

The return date of your altered garment(s) will depend on the complexity and workload of The Fitting and it will be communicated before accepting the alteration.
We do not offer alterations before shipping the order and we don’t have accredited partners for alterations outside Qatar.
Altered garments are not eligible for returns/refunds.
ALTERATION SERVICE AT HOME (QATAR ONLY)
You can book your alteration service at home in Qatar only. The service will be charged according to our price list at +50% from full price, please check our prices on The Fitting page.
Alterations at the shop are free of charges.
SITE CREDIT
Site credit can only be used for purchases on www.thecloset-official.com or at the boutique (The Pearl, Porto Arabia, Parcel 5, Unit 117, Doha, Qatar).
It is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The validity is 12 months since the date of issuance. Items purchased through site credit are not eligible for return/refund.
Site credit will be shared with you in the form of a credit voucher and can be deducted at the checkout the next time you shop.
Site credit voucher above 5,000 QAR: should you not fully use the voucher in one purchase, we will issue a new credit voucher with the deducted amount, with the same expiring date as the original one. (12 months since it has first been issued). The remaining balance can only be used one time and no other credit voucher will be issued if the full amount isn’t used.
Site credit voucher below 5,000 QAR: you will need to use the full amount in one purchase.

DISCOUNT CODE
Promotional codes must be applied at the checkout and are subject to any applicable eligibility or expiration date, item/order eligibility or requirements. On each order you can only use one promotional code.
Please note The Closet may exclude certain Designers/categories from a particular promotion or all promotions.
All promotions have an expiration date, once a promotion has expired, the voucher will no longer be active.
Discount codes do not cover the costs of any shipping, duties, and or taxes (where applicable).
Discount codes and any voucher cannot be used for trunk show orders.
PAYMENT TERMS
All orders are subject to verification for security reasons and we may contact you to verify an order upon receiving your payment.
We accept the following methods of payment:

In cases where The Closet detects a problem in the order or in the payment if we cannot reach the Customer at the phone or e-mail provided, we freeze the execution of the order/refund for 7 business days. The Customer is expected to contact The Closet Qatar regarding the issue within this period. If no reply is received from the Customer within this period, The Closet has the right to cancel the order or freeze the return in order to prevent damage to both parties.
We can only accept one credit/debit card for each order. If your payment information has changed since you placed the deposit, please contact [email protected] with your updated information.
PRICING & PRICE ADJUSTMENTS
We are constantly updating and revising our e-commerce and we might discontinue products and services at any time without notice. All pricing for the products is subject to change. For our products and services we reserve the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and other circumstances.
If any of our products was incorrectly priced or incurred an incorrectly description The Closet has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product, whether or not the order has been confirmed and the payment has been deducted. You will be refunded in the same form the payment has been made.
The Closet is not responsible for pricing/promotions/discounts from any other retailers and e-commerce and will not match its prices.

TRUNK SHOW AND PRE-ORDERS
WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?
During a trunk show you are typically seeing items fresh from the runway shows and get to secure them for the next season. When purchasing from a Trunk show you are securing your item directly with the Designer. A Trunk Show lasts for a limited time. You can order the items by paying a deposit at the time of purchase. Once your order is ready to ship, you will be notified and you will be billed in full. Once we have received the payment, we will ship the order to you.
SIZE AND FIT OF YOUR TRUNK SHOW ORDER
We don’t have samples of the garments from the trunk shows, so size and fit of the items cannot be checked by The Closet. Size and fit details will be recommended according to the information provided by the Designer. We will do our best to provide you with any further info or clarification, should you have any doubt please contact us: [email protected].
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF A TRUNK SHOW ORDER
You can make changes/cancellations to your trunk show order while the trunk show is active: please contact [email protected].
- For cancellations we will arrange a payment refund in the same form your deposit was paid.
- If you are not satisfied with your trunk show order, you can exchange it for 12 months validity site credit.
- Once you will receive your item(s), you can contact [email protected] to initiate the return. Please keep in mind you have up to 14 days from the receiving date.
Once the trunk show is closed, the order cannot be cancelled unless the shipment has been unavoidably delayed past the stated estimated delivery window. Please note this is something out of our control and we will do the best to accommodate your requests (refund/credit note).
TRUNK SHOW PAYMENT
At the checkout your will be charged for a deposit to secure your order with the Designer.
Once your order is ready we will notify you and arrange the final payment of your order, plus any shippings fee/taxes ( if any). Once we will receive full payment, we will ship to you your order.
Should your payment information have changed since you placed the deposit, please contact [email protected] with your updated information.
If the remaining payment cannot be processed your order will be cancelled. The deposit is not
refundable.
DELIVERY
The estimated delivery window of each product will be noted when you place your order, in the product page.
Please note the delivery window is provided by the Brand and we have no control on this. Any issue or delay or change will be notified to the customer before shipping the order.
DISCOUNT CODES
Discount codes and any voucher cannot be used for trunk show orders.
WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?
Our selection notated as Pre-order is composed of items that we have curated for The Closet website. They are secured units and are confirmed stock for our boutique. You are getting to secure your unit before they are available on site for all to purchase.
PRE-ORDER PAYMENT
Pre-orders are fully paid at the time you place your order, at the checkout shipping fees and taxes will be added.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF A PRE-ORDER
Pre-Orders can be cancelled if the order has not been shipped yet. If your order has left our warehouse, we are unable to modify your order. Once you will receive your item(s), you can contact [email protected] to initiate the return – if eligible.
